LAYERS consist of: PSA Adhesive, 1.5-mm Damping, 6 mm Water-Repellent Foam, 3-mm Damping and 25-mm Water Repellent Foam

BH Tile V2 is a water resistant multi-layer high efficiency acoustical absorption pad with a pressure sensitive adhesive back. Designed to be used inside the car door to damp the speaker back wave and vehicle outer skin. Features an all-new materials construction to improve all-around performance.

BENEFITS

The new foam material naturally repels water, so it does not need to be sealed.

This leaves the foam’s micro cells open to significantly extend the high frequency response and absorption with NRC = 0.95. (Noise reduction coefficient)

Flame retardance is now the highest-level UL 94 V-0.

The base damping layer is 30% thicker and heavier to lower the resonance and sound transmission of the vehicle’s metal.

The bottom face is automotive grade pressure sensitive adhesive. A coated water resistant multi-layer high efficiency acoustical absorption pad with a pressure sensitive adhesive back.

USE

Ideal damping for enclosures exposed to the elements. Such as marine, car door, and other similar applications.

DESCRIPTION OF LAYERS

1) High efficiency acoustical absorption layer from high density polyurethane foam.

2) "Floating Wall" sound barrier made of limp flexible vinyl copolymer loaded with non-lead inorganic fillers.

3) Vibration isolation layer made with polyurethane flexible closed cell foam.

4) Hi-loss flexible viscoelastic double thickness damping layer, backed with a super-strong pressure adhesive.

5) Sealed to ensure water resistance.
