Needing some additional space under the seat of your F-Series truck? Problem solved.

The LMI product raises the rear seat in Super Crew and Super Cab trucks 2.5" (or 3.5" in newer models) to increase the under seat area for stereo systems and storage. Seat Lift Kits ship within 3-5 business days from date of order.

The kit comes with the formed steel brackets that are powder coated and all the nuts, bolts and additional hardware that are needed for the installation. Typical installation time is less than an hour and a half with common shop tools. No drilling required.

For the Ford F-Series 2015+. This process should take roughly 1 to 1.5 hours.

1. Lower the Seat Backs down into the flat position
   1. Find the latch behind the seat
   2. Lift the latch to release the seat
   3. Make sure the seat bottom is slightly lifted to allow for more room
   4. Both passenger and driver sides
2. Remove the latch assembly off the back of the seat
   1. There are two #30 torques head bolts holding this down
   2. Use a tool to remove those
   3. Remove the existing bracket
3. Install the new bracket included in your kit with the lip facing up and towards the door
   1. Thread a ¼” by ½” bold through so that the head is between the bracket and the seat while the threads are pointed upwards
   2. Reinstall the bolts removed with the previous bracket to secure the new bracket
4. Replace the previous bracket on top of the new bracket
   1. Using the bolt that you threaded through the new bracket, secure the old bracket to the new bracket
   2. You will need a 7/16” wrench to tighten the corresponding nut down
5. Repeat Steps 1-4 on both passenger and driver sides
6. After the backs of the seats have been finished, remove the four bolts that secure the seats to the floor
   1. Additionally, remove the bolts keeping the seat in place on both the driver and passenger sides
7. After removing the bolts, fold the seats into the upright position
   1. You will reveal 3 more bolts that also need to be removed
8. Once all bolts are removed, carefully lift the seat of the mounts. Two people may be required.
9. Now that the bolts are exposed, install the seat brackets provided in your kit onto the bolts.
   1. Thread another bolt through the top of the bracket and finger tighten a nut on that bolt
   2. Use the bolt in the floor to thread through the bottom part of the bracket, and then use a wrench to tighten a nut onto that bolt.
   3. When the bolts are properly tightened, you will notice that the factory bolt will touch the new bolt threaded through the top of the bracket
10. Repeat Step 9 for all mounting points
11. Replace the seat in its original position, on top of the newly installed brackets
12. Add your Z brackets to the driver and passenger sides
13. Ensure all nuts are correctly tightened
14. Return your seats to their factory position. Latch the back to the latching mechanism and position your seat upright.
