In 2009, when car audio was still largely analog, Henning Gladen initiated the development of a digital signal processor (DSP) at Mosconi. In the digital world, where complex algorithms calculate many digits after the decimal point, meeting Henning's and Mosconi’s high standards would require extreme precision. Ultimately, the goal was reached with a cooperation of the best: The analog competence of Mosconi, the art of German digital engineering, and the expertise of the suppliers, such as Texas Instrument, Analog Devices and Microchip.
The result, a para-graphic EQ and signal controlled mixer, was revolutionary for it’s time: the 6-8 (6TO8) Mosconi DSP became a milestone. This DSP features 6-channel input and 8-channel output, the ATOM mixer menu with dynamic preset switching and “trigger” control, and 12 V remote-out / autosense at high level signal.
Note: All DSP's require accessories to accept RCA inputs. See: Mosconi Gladiator DSP Controller (for all products with BT+ port, i.e., PICO, ONE, PRO & AERO). Consult the Mosconi-Gladen DSP Products/Accessories Compatibility chart below for more information.
Software: Mosconi-Gladen also provides accompanying software, available from their website.
